The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.26; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा तत्रैव, श्रीमद्-उद्धवोक्तौ (३.४.१५) —
को न्व् ईश ते पाद-सरोज-भाजां
सुदुर्लभो’र्थेषु चतुर्ष्व् अपीह ।
तथापि नाहं प्रवृणोमि भूमन्
भवत्-पदाम्भोज-निषेवणोत्सुकः ॥१.२.२६॥yathā tatraiva, śrīmad-uddhavoktau (3.4.15) —
ko nv īśa te pāda-saroja-bhājāṃ
sudurlabho’rtheṣu caturṣv apīha |
tathāpi nāhaṃ pravṛṇomi bhūman
bhavat-padāmbhoja-niṣevaṇotsukaḥ ||1.2.26||
English translation
Uddhava also states this [in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.4.15]:
“O my Lord, devotees who engage in the transcendental loving service of Your lotus feet have no difficulty in achieving anything within the realm of the four principles of religiosity, economic development, sense gratification and liberation. But, O great one, as far as I am concerned, I have preferred only to engage in the loving service of Your lotus feet.”
