The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.1.44; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अग्रतो वक्ष्यमाणायास् त्रिधा भक्तेर् अनुक्रमात् ।
द्विशः षड्भिः पदैर् एतन् माहात्यं परिकीर्तितम् ॥१.१.४४॥

agrato vakṣyamāṇāyās tridhā bhakter anukramāt |
dviśaḥ ṣaḍbhiḥ padair etan māhātyaṃ parikīrtitam
||1.1.44||

English translation

“The three types of bhakti will be explained later, one after the other. The greatness of bhakti is uniquely glorified by the six qualities just mentioned, two qualities appearing in each type of bhakti.”
