The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.1.33; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

मोक्ष-लघुताकृत् —
मनाग् एव प्ररूढायां हृदये भगवाद्-रतौ ।
पुरुषार्थास् तु चत्वारास् तृणायन्ते समन्ततः ॥१.१.३३॥mokṣa-laghutākṛt —
manāg eva prarūḍhāyāṃ hṛdaye bhagavād-ratau |
puruṣārthās tu catvārās tṛṇāyante samantataḥ ||1.1.33||
English translation
Bhakti causes total disregard for liberation:
“When even a little attraction for the Lord grows in the heart, the four objects of human attainment—artha, dharma, kāma and mokṣa—become like grass, shameful to appear before bhakti.”
