तत्रास्याः क्लेशघ्नत्वम् —
क्लेशास् तु पापं तद्-बीजम् अविद्या चेति ते त्रिधा ॥१.१.१८॥tatrāsyāḥ kleśaghnatvam —
kleśās tu pāpaṃ tad-bījam avidyā ceti te tridhā ||1.1.18||
English translation
“Now we will discuss the first characteristic, its ability to destroy suffering. Suffering is threefold: sinful reaction, the seed of sin and ignorance.”
