The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.1.13-15; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

श्री-भागवतस्य तृतीय-स्कन्धे च (३.२९.१२-१४) —
अहैतुक्य् अव्यवहिता या भक्तिः पुरुषोत्तमे
सालोक्य-सार्ष्टि-सामीप्य-सारूप्यैकत्वम् अप्य् उत ।
दीयमानं न गृह्णन्ति विना मत्-सेवनं जनाः
स एव भक्ति-योगाख्य आत्यन्तिक उदाहृतः ॥१.१.१३-१५॥śrī-bhāgavatasya tṛtīya-skandhe ca (3.29.12-14) —
ahaituky avyavahitā yā bhaktiḥ puruṣottame
sālokya-sārṣṭi-sāmīpya-sārūpyaikatvam apy uta |
dīyamānaṃ na gṛhṇanti vinā mat-sevanaṃ janāḥ
sa eva bhakti-yogākhya ātyantika udāhṛtaḥ ||1.1.13-15||
English translation
This is also stated in the Third Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [3.29.12-14]:
“These are the characteristics of transcendental loving service to Puruṣottama, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is without other desires, and it is not contaminated by karma or jñāna. In this type of bhakti, My devotees do not accept sālokya, sārṣṭi, sārūpya, sāmipya or oneness with Me—even if I offer these liberations—in preference to serving Me. This is called bhakti-yoga, and it is declared as the highest object of human pursuit.”
