तत्र पूर्वे विभागे’स्मिन् भक्ति-भेद-निरूपके ।
अनुक्रमेण वक्तव्यं लहरीणां चतुष्टयम् ॥१.१.८॥tatra pūrve vibhāge’smin bhakti-bheda-nirūpake |
anukrameṇa vaktavyaṃ laharīṇāṃ catuṣṭayam ||1.1.8||
English translation
“The Eastern Ocean defines the different types of bhakti. This will be discussed in four successive waves (chapters).”
