स्नेहं च कुरुते भ्राता राज्यलुब्धोऽर्थकारणात् ।
अर्थवीर्येण तेनैव संतोषं कुरुते नृपः ।
क्रियते न किमर्थं तु भूप मंत्रपरिग्रहः ।
भुज्यते सकलं राज्यं मया ते मंत्रिणा बलात् ॥ १४ ॥

snehaṃ ca kurute bhrātā rājyalubdho'rthakāraṇāt |
arthavīryeṇa tenaiva saṃtoṣaṃ kurute nṛpaḥ |
kriyate na kimarthaṃ tu bhūpa maṃtraparigrahaḥ |
