The Bhagavad-gita Verse 18.69, English translation, including the Vaishnava commentaries Sarartha-varsini-tika, Prakashika-vritti and Rasika-ranjana (excerpts). This is verse Verse 18.69 from the chapter 18 called “Moksha-yoga (the Yoga of Liberation)”

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration, Word-for-word and English translation of verse 18.69:

न च तस्मान् मनुष्येषु कश्चिन् मे प्रिय-कृत्तमः ।
भविता न च मे तस्माद् अन्यः प्रियतरो भुवि ॥ ६९ ॥

na ca tasmān manuṣyeṣu kaścin me priya-kṛttamaḥ |
bhavitā na ca me tasmād anyaḥ priyataro bhuvi
|| 69 ||

na–not; ca–also; tasmāt–compared to him (he who explains this Gītā); manuṣyeṣu–in human society; kaścit–anyone; me–to Me; priya-kṛttamaḥ–who performs a more pleasing service; bhavitā na–there will never be; ca–and; me–to Me; tasmāt–than him; anyaḥ–another; priyataraḥ–more dear; bhuvi–on the Earth.

No one in human society is more dear to Me than one who explains this message of the Gītā to others, nor will there ever be anyone more dear to Me than him.

Commentary: Sārārtha-Varṣiṇī Ṭīkā

(By Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura; the innermost intention of the commentary named ‘the shower of essential meanings’)

There is no one in this world who performs a more pleasing service to Me, nor will there ever be anyone more dear to Me than one who preaches this Bhagavad-gītā.”

Commentary: Sārārtha-Varṣiṇī Prakāśikā-vṛtti

(By Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja; the explanation that illuminates the commentary named Sārārtha-varṣiṇī)

The bona fide instructors, or preachers, of this Gītā are very dear to Bhagavān. It is therefore incumbent on pure devotees to preach its message, but those who simply entertain people on the pretext of preaching the Gītā do not deliver the confidential, more confidential, even more confidential and the most confidential truths of the Gītā. Instead, they teach māyāvādā, karma, jñāna and yoga. Such persons become offenders at the lotus feet of Śrī Bhagavān. One does not benefit by hearing the Gītā from them.
