अस्माकन् तु विशिष्टा ये तान् निबोध द्विजोत्तम ।
नायका मम सैन्यस्य संज्ञार्थं तान् ब्रवीमि ते ॥ ७ ॥asmākan tu viśiṣṭā ye tān nibodha dvijottama |
nāyakā mama sainyasya saṃjñārthaṃ tān bravīmi te || 7 ||asmākam–of our (army); tu–also; viśiṣṭāḥ–outstanding (warriors); ye–who; tān–those (names); nibodha–be informed; dvija-uttama–O best of the twice-born; nāyakāḥ–heroes; mama sainyasya–of the soldiers; saṃjña-artham–for your understanding; tān–those; bravīmi–I am mentioning; te–to you.
O best of the brāhmaṇas, for your information I shall also mention the names of my army’s most excellent heroes.

Here, the word nibodha means ‘please understand’, and saṃjñārtham means ‘for true knowledge’.
