sa yāni purastādabhiṣekasya juhoti | bṛhaspatisteṣāmuttamo bhavatyatha yānyupariṣṭādabhiṣekasya juhotīndrasteṣām prathamo bhavati brahma vai bṛhaspatirindriyaṃ vīryamindra etābhyāmevainametadvīryābhyāmubhayataḥ paribṛṃhati

Now of those which he offers before the consecration, Brihaspati is the last (recipient), and of those which he offers after the consecration, Indra is the first;—but Brihaspati is priestly dignity (brahma), and Indra is might, vigour: with these two kinds of vigour he thus encloses him on both sides.
