कृश्ण-वक्त्राद् इमं लब्धं पुरा रुद्रेण यत्नतः
तेनोक्तं नारदायाथ नारदेन मयोदितम्

kṛṣṇa-vaktrād imaṃ labdhaṃ purā rudreṇa yatnataḥ
tenoktaṃ nāradāyātha nāradena mayoditam

English translation of verse:

In ancient times Lord Sadāśiva attained this from Lord Kṛṣṇa's mouth. Lord Sadāśiva spoke this to Śrī Nārada. I heard it from Śrī Nārada and now I have repeated it to you.
