67. Vidhi-ābhāsa

विध्य्-आभासो निषेधे चेद् विधिर् व्यक्तं समीक्ष्यते ॥ ११.७ab ॥

vidhy-ābhāso niṣedhe ced vidhir vyaktaṃ samīkṣyate || 11.7ab ||

When the speaker apparently enjoins an idea that he or she does not really desire, that is vidhi-ābhāsa (semblance of an enjoinment).
