अर्थान्तर-न्यासेऽतात्त्विकोत्प्रेक्षितार्थ-समर्थनम् अनुचितार्थता. यथा,

arthāntara-nyāse'tāttvikotprekṣitārtha-samarthanam anucitārthatā. yathā,

In arthāntara-nyāsa, the fault called anucitārtha (unsuitable meaning) (7.27) occurs if there is a corroboration of a far-fetched utprekṣā. For instance:

tanvi tvan-madhyam ālokya vrīḍayaiva vinihnutaḥ |
keśarī hanta kas tiṣṭhen nyūno’dhika-guṇaiḥ saha ||
