Text 10.157 [Udātta]

33. Udātta

उदात्तं वस्तुनः सम्पत् ॥ १०.११५c ॥

udāttaṃ vastunaḥ sampat || 10.115c ||

udāttam—the ornament called udātta; vastunaḥ—of a thing; sampat—the wealth (the description of wealth[1]).

When there is a description of the wealth of a thing, that is udātta (exalted).

sampat samṛddhiḥ.

The word sampat means samṛddhi (wealth).
