अश्वं मे देहि राजेन्द्रं गजेन्द्रं वा युधिष्ठिर. अत्र गजेन्द्रस्य पूर्वं याचनम् उचितम् इति दुष्क्रमोऽर्थः.

aśvaṃ me dehi rājendraṃ gajendraṃ vā yudhiṣṭhira. atra gajendrasya pūrvaṃ yācanam ucitam iti duṣkramo'rthaḥ.

(5) [This illustrates duṣkrama (bad sequence):] “O Yudhiṣṭhira, give me a horse, or else the most kingly elephant” (adapted from Kāvya-prakāśa verse 260). Here the meanings have a bad sequence: Asking for the elephant first is appropriate.
