मृ॒गो न भी॒मः कु॑च॒रो गि॑रि॒ष्ठाः प॑रा॒वत॒ आ ज॑गन्था॒ पर॑स्याः । सृ॒कं सं॒शाय॑ प॒विमि॑न्द्र ति॒ग्मं वि शत्रू॑न्ताळ्हि॒ वि मृधो॑ नुदस्व ॥
मृगो न भीमः कुचरो गिरिष्ठाः परावत आ जगन्था परस्याः । सृकं संशाय पविमिन्द्र तिग्मं वि शत्रून्ताळ्हि वि मृधो नुदस्व ॥
mṛgo na bhīmaḥ kucaro giriṣṭhāḥ parāvata ā jaganthā parasyāḥ | sṛkaṃ saṃśāya pavim indra tigmaṃ vi śatrūn tāḻhi vi mṛdho nudasva ||

English translation:

“Terrible are you as a wandering lion who dwells in the mountains; come from a far-off, distant (world);having whetted your rapid and sharp bolt, destroy our enemies, Indra, put to flight our opponents.”
