अ॒यम॒ग्निरु॑रुष्यत्य॒मृता॑दिव॒ जन्म॑नः । सह॑सश्चि॒त्सही॑यान्दे॒वो जी॒वात॑वे कृ॒तः ॥
अयमग्निरुरुष्यत्यमृतादिव जन्मनः । सहसश्चित्सहीयान्देवो जीवातवे कृतः ॥
ayam agnir uruṣyaty amṛtād iva janmanaḥ | sahasaś cit sahīyān devo jīvātave kṛtaḥ ||
English translation:
“This Agni saves from peril caused by man as (well as) from peril caused by the immortals, a godstronger than strength, created for life-producing (sacrifice).”
