त्वं म॒खस्य॒ दोध॑त॒: शिरोऽव॑ त्व॒चो भ॑रः । अग॑च्छः सो॒मिनो॑ गृ॒हम् ॥
त्वं मखस्य दोधतः शिरोऽव त्वचो भरः । अगच्छः सोमिनो गृहम् ॥
tvam makhasya dodhataḥ śiro 'va tvaco bharaḥ | agacchaḥ somino gṛham ||

English translation:

“You have carried off the head of the trmbling sacrifice from his skin; come to the dwelling of thepresenter of the Soma.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Legend: Sacrifice attempted to escape from the gods. Sacrifice assumed a human form,that of a warrior. Indra took the form of an ant and gnawed at the bowstring and then cut of the head of Sacrifice.The head of the Sacrifice is the pravargya or preliminary ceremony of pouring fresh milk into boiling ghī
