आ॒न्त्रेभ्य॑स्ते॒ गुदा॑भ्यो वनि॒ष्ठोर्हृद॑या॒दधि॑ । यक्ष्मं॒ मत॑स्नाभ्यां य॒क्नः प्ला॒शिभ्यो॒ वि वृ॑हामि ते ॥
आन्त्रेभ्यस्ते गुदाभ्यो वनिष्ठोर्हृदयादधि । यक्ष्मं मतस्नाभ्यां यक्नः प्लाशिभ्यो वि वृहामि ते ॥
āntrebhyas te gudābhyo vaniṣṭhor hṛdayād adhi | yakṣmam matasnābhyāṃ yaknaḥ plāśibhyo vi vṛhāmi te ||

English translation:

“I banish disease from your entrails, from your anus, from your abdomen, and from your heart, fromyour kidneys, from your liver, from your (other) viscera.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Kidneys: bones near the heart; or, kidneys, made likethe fruit of the mango tree, being in both sides of the body
