अ॒श्वा॒यन्तो॑ ग॒व्यन्तो॑ वा॒जय॑न्तो॒ हवा॑महे॒ त्वोप॑गन्त॒वा उ॑ । आ॒भूष॑न्तस्ते सुम॒तौ नवा॑यां व॒यमि॑न्द्र त्वा शु॒नं हु॑वेम ॥
अश्वायन्तो गव्यन्तो वाजयन्तो हवामहे त्वोपगन्तवा उ । आभूषन्तस्ते सुमतौ नवायां वयमिन्द्र त्वा शुनं हुवेम ॥
aśvāyanto gavyanto vājayanto havāmahe tvopagantavā u | ābhūṣantas te sumatau navāyāṃ vayam indra tvā śunaṃ huvema ||
English translation:
“Wishing for horses, for cattle, for food, we invoke you, Indra, that you may come; abiding within yournew favour we invoke you, Indra, the giver of happiness.”
