चक्षु॑र्नो धेहि॒ चक्षु॑षे॒ चक्षु॑र्वि॒ख्यै त॒नूभ्य॑: । सं चे॒दं वि च॑ पश्येम ॥
चक्षुर्नो धेहि चक्षुषे चक्षुर्विख्यै तनूभ्यः । सं चेदं वि च पश्येम ॥
cakṣur no dhehi cakṣuṣe cakṣur vikhyai tanūbhyaḥ | saṃ cedaṃ vi ca paśyema ||

English translation:

“Give sight, Sūrya, to our eyes, (bestow) sight for the illumination of our bodies, so that we may lookupon and into this (world).”
