ये युध्य॑न्ते प्र॒धने॑षु॒ शूरा॑सो॒ ये त॑नू॒त्यज॑: । ये वा॑ स॒हस्र॑दक्षिणा॒स्ताँश्चि॑दे॒वापि॑ गच्छतात् ॥
ये युध्यन्ते प्रधनेषु शूरासो ये तनूत्यजः । ये वा सहस्रदक्षिणास्ताँश्चिदेवापि गच्छतात् ॥
ye yudhyante pradhaneṣu śūrāso ye tanūtyajaḥ | ye vā sahasradakṣiṇās tām̐ś cid evāpi gacchatāt ||
English translation:
“To those who engage in battles, heroes who have given up their lives, or who have presentedthousands of offerings, to them (O dead one) go.”
