अपे॑न्द्र द्विष॒तो मनोऽप॒ जिज्या॑सतो व॒धम् । वि म॒न्योः शर्म॑ यच्छ॒ वरी॑यो यवया व॒धम् ॥
अपेन्द्र द्विषतो मनोऽप जिज्यासतो वधम् । वि मन्योः शर्म यच्छ वरीयो यवया वधम् ॥
apendra dviṣato mano 'pa jijyāsato vadham | vi manyoḥ śarma yaccha varīyo yavayā vadham ||

English translation:

“Frustrate the purpose of him who hates us, (baffle) the weapon of him who seeks to overpower us,grant us entire security from his wrath of (his) weapon.”
