यत्रा॑ समु॒द्रः स्क॑भि॒तो व्यौन॒दपां॑ नपात्सवि॒ता तस्य॑ वेद । अतो॒ भूरत॑ आ॒ उत्थि॑तं॒ रजोऽतो॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी अ॑प्रथेताम् ॥
यत्रा समुद्रः स्कभितो व्यौनदपां नपात्सविता तस्य वेद । अतो भूरत आ उत्थितं रजोऽतो द्यावापृथिवी अप्रथेताम् ॥
yatrā samudraḥ skabhito vy aunad apāṃ napāt savitā tasya veda | ato bhūr ata ā utthitaṃ rajo 'to dyāvāpṛthivī aprathetām ||

English translation:

“Where the cloud thus arrested shed moisture (on the earth) Savitā, O grandson of the waters, knewthat (plural ce); from thence proceeded the earth, thence arose the firmament, thence the heaven and earth werespread out.”
