इ॒मा ब्रह्मे॑न्द्र॒ तुभ्यं॑ शंसि॒ दा नृभ्यो॑ नृ॒णां शू॑र॒ शव॑: । तेभि॑र्भव॒ सक्र॑तु॒र्येषु॑ चा॒कन्नु॒त त्रा॑यस्व गृण॒त उ॒त स्तीन् ॥
इमा ब्रह्मेन्द्र तुभ्यं शंसि दा नृभ्यो नृणां शूर शवः । तेभिर्भव सक्रतुर्येषु चाकन्नुत त्रायस्व गृणत उत स्तीन् ॥
imā brahmendra tubhyaṃ śaṃsi dā nṛbhyo nṛṇāṃ śūra śavaḥ | tebhir bhava sakratur yeṣu cākann uta trāyasva gṛṇata uta stīn ||

English translation:

“To you, Indra, have these prayers been addressed grant, O hero, strength to the leaders of men; be ofone mind with those in whom you delight, and protect those who praise you, and the worshippers who standround about.”
