ऊर्जो॑ नपाज्जातवेदः सुश॒स्तिभि॒र्मन्द॑स्व धी॒तिभि॑र्हि॒तः । त्वे इष॒: सं द॑धु॒र्भूरि॑वर्पसश्चि॒त्रोत॑यो वा॒मजा॑ताः ॥
ऊर्जो नपाज्जातवेदः सुशस्तिभिर्मन्दस्व धीतिभिर्हितः । त्वे इषः सं दधुर्भूरिवर्पसश्चित्रोतयो वामजाताः ॥
ūrjo napāj jātavedaḥ suśastibhir mandasva dhītibhir hitaḥ | tve iṣaḥ saṃ dadhur bhūrivarpasaś citrotayo vāmajātāḥ ||

English translation:

“Son of strength, Jātavedas, rejoice in our adorations, (be) satisfied by our offerings, (theworshippers) have plural ced before you viands of many sorts of wonderful efficacy, of excellent origin. {Son ofstrength: ūrjo napāt = grandson of waters; or, non-injurer; or, food].”
