दी॒र्घं ह्य॑ङ्कु॒शं य॑था॒ शक्तिं॒ बिभ॑र्षि मन्तुमः । पूर्वे॑ण मघवन्प॒दाजो व॒यां यथा॑ यमो दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ॥
दीर्घं ह्यङ्कुशं यथा शक्तिं बिभर्षि मन्तुमः । पूर्वेण मघवन्पदाजो वयां यथा यमो देवी जनित्र्यजीजनद्भद्रा जनित्र्यजीजनत् ॥
dīrghaṃ hy aṅkuśaṃ yathā śaktim bibharṣi mantumaḥ | pūrveṇa maghavan padājo vayāṃ yathā yamo devī janitry ajījanad bhadrā janitry ajījanat ||

English translation:

“For you, sapient (Indra), wield your might like a long hook; you drag (your foes), Maghavan, as a goatwith its fore-foot (drags) a branch; the divine progenitress has given you birth, the auspicious progrenitress hasgiven you birth.”
