त्वं सिन्धूँ॒रवा॑सृजोऽध॒राचो॒ अह॒न्नहि॑म् । अ॒श॒त्रुरि॑न्द्र जज्ञिषे॒ विश्वं॑ पुष्यसि॒ वार्यं॒ तं त्वा॒ परि॑ ष्वजामहे॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु ॥
त्वं सिन्धूँरवासृजोऽधराचो अहन्नहिम् । अशत्रुरिन्द्र जज्ञिषे विश्वं पुष्यसि वार्यं तं त्वा परि ष्वजामहे नभन्तामन्यकेषां ज्याका अधि धन्वसु ॥
tvaṃ sindhūm̐r avāsṛjo 'dharāco ahann ahim | aśatrur indra jajñiṣe viśvam puṣyasi vāryaṃ taṃ tvā pari ṣvajāmahe nabhantām anyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu ||
English translation:
“You have sent the rivers away downwards, you have slain Ahi; you are born, Indra, without an enemy,you grant all that is desirable, as such we embrace you; may the bowstrings on the bows of our enemies bedestroyed.”
