ये न॑: स॒पत्ना॒ अप॒ ते भ॑वन्त्विन्द्रा॒ग्निभ्या॒मव॑ बाधामहे॒ तान् । वस॑वो रु॒द्रा आ॑दि॒त्या उ॑परि॒स्पृशं॑ मो॒ग्रं चेत्ता॑रमधिरा॒जम॑क्रन् ॥
ये नः सपत्ना अप ते भवन्त्विन्द्राग्निभ्यामव बाधामहे तान् । वसवो रुद्रा आदित्या उपरिस्पृशं मोग्रं चेत्तारमधिराजमक्रन् ॥
ye naḥ sapatnā apa te bhavantv indrāgnibhyām ava bādhāmahe tān | vasavo rudrā ādityā uparispṛśam mograṃ cettāram adhirājam akran ||

English translation:

“May those who are our foes be driven off; may we through Indra and Agni destroy them; may theVasus, the Rudras, and the Ādityas make me the high- reaching, fierce, intelligent, supreme ruler.”
