त्वामिद॒स्या उ॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टिषु दू॒तं कृ॑ण्वा॒ना अ॑यजन्त॒ मानु॑षाः । त्वां दे॒वा म॑ह॒याय्या॑य वावृधु॒राज्य॑मग्ने निमृ॒जन्तो॑ अध्व॒रे ॥
त्वामिदस्या उषसो व्युष्टिषु दूतं कृण्वाना अयजन्त मानुषाः । त्वां देवा महयाय्याय वावृधुराज्यमग्ने निमृजन्तो अध्वरे ॥
tvām id asyā uṣaso vyuṣṭiṣu dūtaṃ kṛṇvānā ayajanta mānuṣāḥ | tvāṃ devā mahayāyyāya vāvṛdhur ājyam agne nimṛjanto adhvare ||

English translation:

“Men worshipped you, Agni, at the opening of the present dawn, appointing you their messenger to thegods; the gods have magnified you for their adoration, sprinkling butter upon you at the sacrifice.”
