Rig Veda 10.118.3

स आहु॑तो॒ वि रो॑चते॒ऽग्निरी॒ळेन्यो॑ गि॒रा । स्रु॒चा प्रती॑कमज्यते ॥
स आहुतो वि रोचतेऽग्निरीळेन्यो गिरा । स्रुचा प्रतीकमज्यते ॥
sa āhuto vi rocate 'gnir īḻenyo girā | srucā pratīkam ajyate ||

English translation:

Agni, who is to be glorified with the voice (of praise), blazes up when invoked, he is sprinkled with theladle before (the other gods).”
