तं वो॒ विं न द्रु॒षदं॑ दे॒वमन्ध॑स॒ इन्दुं॒ प्रोथ॑न्तं प्र॒वप॑न्तमर्ण॒वम् । आ॒सा वह्निं॒ न शो॒चिषा॑ विर॒प्शिनं॒ महि॑व्रतं॒ न स॒रज॑न्त॒मध्व॑नः ॥
तं वो विं न द्रुषदं देवमन्धस इन्दुं प्रोथन्तं प्रवपन्तमर्णवम् । आसा वह्निं न शोचिषा विरप्शिनं महिव्रतं न सरजन्तमध्वनः ॥
taṃ vo viṃ na druṣadaṃ devam andhasa indum prothantam pravapantam arṇavam | āsā vahniṃ na śociṣā virapśinam mahivrataṃ na sarajantam adhvanaḥ ||

English translation:

“(Glorify) him, (worshippers), the divine, like a bird seated upon a tree, demanding sacrificial food,clamorous, wood-consuming, water-shedding, like one bearing (the oblation) in his mouth, mighty with radiance,simultaneously illuminating the paths, like the great functionary (the sun).”
