स॒ह॒स्र॒धा प॑ञ्चद॒शान्यु॒क्था याव॒द्द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी ताव॒दित्तत् । स॒ह॒स्र॒धा म॑हि॒मान॑: स॒हस्रं॒ याव॒द्ब्रह्म॒ विष्ठि॑तं॒ ताव॑ती॒ वाक् ॥
सहस्रधा पञ्चदशान्युक्था यावद्द्यावापृथिवी तावदित्तत् । सहस्रधा महिमानः सहस्रं यावद्ब्रह्म विष्ठितं तावती वाक् ॥
sahasradhā pañcadaśāny ukthā yāvad dyāvāpṛthivī tāvad it tat | sahasradhā mahimānaḥ sahasraṃ yāvad brahma viṣṭhitaṃ tāvatī vāk ||

English translation:

“The fifteen chief forms (are found) in a thousand plural ces; as heaven and earth are, so verily in that; thethousand great (functions) are in a thousand plural ces; as Brahmā is variably developed, so is Speech.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Thousandfunctions are in a thusand plural ces: i.e., each action or function (as sight, hearing, etc.) has its own viṣaya, orobject; as Brahmā... so is Speech: i.e., everthing has a name
