स॒द्यो जा॒तो व्य॑मिमीत य॒ज्ञम॒ग्निर्दे॒वाना॑मभवत्पुरो॒गाः । अ॒स्य होतु॑: प्र॒दिश्यृ॒तस्य॑ वा॒चि स्वाहा॑कृतं ह॒विर॑दन्तु दे॒वाः ॥
सद्यो जातो व्यमिमीत यज्ञमग्निर्देवानामभवत्पुरोगाः । अस्य होतुः प्रदिश्यृतस्य वाचि स्वाहाकृतं हविरदन्तु देवाः ॥
sadyo jāto vy amimīta yajñam agnir devānām abhavat purogāḥ | asya hotuḥ pradiśy ṛtasya vāci svāhākṛtaṃ havir adantu devāḥ ||

English translation:

“As soon as he was born, Agni constructed a sacrifice, he was the preceder of the gods; may the godspartake of the oblation presented with the svāhā through the voice of him the hotā of the sacrifice at theeastern station.”
