आ नो॑ य॒ज्ञं भार॑ती॒ तूय॑मे॒त्विळा॑ मनु॒ष्वदि॒ह चे॒तय॑न्ती । ति॒स्रो दे॒वीर्ब॒र्हिरेदं स्यो॒नं सर॑स्वती॒ स्वप॑सः सदन्तु ॥
आ नो यज्ञं भारती तूयमेत्विळा मनुष्वदिह चेतयन्ती । तिस्रो देवीर्बर्हिरेदं स्योनं सरस्वती स्वपसः सदन्तु ॥
ā no yajñam bhāratī tūyam etv iḻā manuṣvad iha cetayantī | tisro devīr barhir edaṃ syonaṃ sarasvatī svapasaḥ sadantu ||
English translation:
“May Bhāratī come quickly to our sacrifice, and Iḷā thinking (of what she has to do), like a humanbeing; may Sarasvatī also-- the three gracious goddesses, sit down upon this plural asant sacred grass.”
