दक्षि॒णाश्वं॒ दक्षि॑णा॒ गां द॑दाति॒ दक्षि॑णा च॒न्द्रमु॒त यद्धिर॑ण्यम् । दक्षि॒णान्नं॑ वनुते॒ यो न॑ आ॒त्मा दक्षि॑णां॒ वर्म॑ कृणुते विजा॒नन् ॥
दक्षिणाश्वं दक्षिणा गां ददाति दक्षिणा चन्द्रमुत यद्धिरण्यम् । दक्षिणान्नं वनुते यो न आत्मा दक्षिणां वर्म कृणुते विजानन् ॥
dakṣiṇāśvaṃ dakṣiṇā gāṃ dadāti dakṣiṇā candram uta yad dhiraṇyam | dakṣiṇānnaṃ vanute yo na ātmā dakṣiṇāṃ varma kṛṇute vijānan ||

English translation:

“(The Paṇis). This treasure, Saramā, secured in the mountain is composed of cows, horses andriches; the Paṇis protect it who are good watchers; you have come to this lonely spot in vain.”
