उ॒ष्टारे॑व॒ फर्व॑रेषु श्रयेथे प्रायो॒गेव॒ श्वात्र्या॒ शासु॒रेथ॑: । दू॒तेव॒ हि ष्ठो य॒शसा॒ जने॑षु॒ माप॑ स्थातं महि॒षेवा॑व॒पाना॑त् ॥
उष्टारेव फर्वरेषु श्रयेथे प्रायोगेव श्वात्र्या शासुरेथः । दूतेव हि ष्ठो यशसा जनेषु माप स्थातं महिषेवावपानात् ॥
uṣṭāreva pharvareṣu śrayethe prāyogeva śvātryā śāsur ethaḥ | dūteva hi ṣṭho yaśasā janeṣu māpa sthātam mahiṣevāvapānāt ||

English translation:

“Like two longing oxen (to the pastures), you have recourse to those who fill you (with oblations); youapproach like two horses prepared for the fray; employed to bring treasure; you are like two (royal) messengersrenowned among the people; turn not away (from our oblation) like two buffaloes from the drinking-trough.”
