क॒कर्द॑वे वृष॒भो यु॒क्त आ॑सी॒दवा॑वची॒त्सार॑थिरस्य के॒शी । दुधे॑र्यु॒क्तस्य॒ द्रव॑तः स॒हान॑स ऋ॒च्छन्ति॑ ष्मा नि॒ष्पदो॑ मुद्ग॒लानी॑म् ॥
ककर्दवे वृषभो युक्त आसीदवावचीत्सारथिरस्य केशी । दुधेर्युक्तस्य द्रवतः सहानस ऋच्छन्ति ष्मा निष्पदो मुद्गलानीम् ॥
kakardave vṛṣabho yukta āsīd avāvacīt sārathir asya keśī | dudher yuktasya dravataḥ sahānasa ṛcchanti ṣmā niṣpado mudgalānīm ||

English translation:

“The bull has been yoked for the destruction of the enemy; his long- haired yoke-fellow made him roar;”
