Rig Veda 10.97.4

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

ओष॑धी॒रिति॑ मातर॒स्तद्वो॑ देवी॒रुप॑ ब्रुवे । स॒नेय॒मश्वं॒ गां वास॑ आ॒त्मानं॒ तव॑ पूरुष ॥
ओषधीरिति मातरस्तद्वो देवीरुप ब्रुवे । सनेयमश्वं गां वास आत्मानं तव पूरुष ॥
oṣadhīr iti mātaras tad vo devīr upa bruve | saneyam aśvaṃ gāṃ vāsa ātmānaṃ tava pūruṣa ||

English translation:

“"plural nts!" thus I hail you, the divine mothers (of mankind). I will give to you, oḥ physician, a horse, acow, a garment-- yes, even myself.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

I will give to you: saneyam = dadāmi; or, saṃbhajeyam, may I possess;

Puruṣa = yajña puruṣa, you whopreside over the sacrifice: Yajus. 12.78
