प्र ते॑ म॒हे वि॒दथे॑ शंसिषं॒ हरी॒ प्र ते॑ वन्वे व॒नुषो॑ हर्य॒तं मद॑म् । घृ॒तं न यो हरि॑भि॒श्चारु॒ सेच॑त॒ आ त्वा॑ विशन्तु॒ हरि॑वर्पसं॒ गिर॑: ॥
प्र ते महे विदथे शंसिषं हरी प्र ते वन्वे वनुषो हर्यतं मदम् । घृतं न यो हरिभिश्चारु सेचत आ त्वा विशन्तु हरिवर्पसं गिरः ॥
pra te mahe vidathe śaṃsiṣaṃ harī pra te vanve vanuṣo haryatam madam | ghṛtaṃ na yo haribhiś cāru secata ā tvā viśantu harivarpasaṃ giraḥ ||
English translation:
“I glorified your bay horses, Indra, at the great sacrifice. I solicit the agreeable exhilaration of you, thedestroyer. May my praises attain to you, whose form is yellow, who, with your horses, shower (water) likebeautiful butter.”
