वै॒श्वा॒न॒रं क॒वयो॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑सो॒ऽग्निं दे॒वा अ॑जनयन्नजु॒र्यम् । नक्ष॑त्रं प्र॒त्नममि॑नच्चरि॒ष्णु य॒क्षस्याध्य॑क्षं तवि॒षं बृ॒हन्त॑म् ॥
वैश्वानरं कवयो यज्ञियासोऽग्निं देवा अजनयन्नजुर्यम् । नक्षत्रं प्रत्नममिनच्चरिष्णु यक्षस्याध्यक्षं तविषं बृहन्तम् ॥
vaiśvānaraṃ kavayo yajñiyāso 'gniṃ devā ajanayann ajuryam | nakṣatram pratnam aminac cariṣṇu yakṣasyādhyakṣaṃ taviṣam bṛhantam ||
English translation:
“The wise and adorable gods engendered the imperishable Agni Vaiśvānara; he overcame (with hislight) the ancient swift-moving Nakṣatra, the overseer of the adorable (deity), mighty and great.”
