वि॒षेण॑ भङ्गु॒राव॑त॒: प्रति॑ ष्म र॒क्षसो॑ दह । अग्ने॑ ति॒ग्मेन॑ शो॒चिषा॒ तपु॑रग्राभिॠ॒ष्टिभि॑: ॥
विषेण भङ्गुरावतः प्रति ष्म रक्षसो दह । अग्ने तिग्मेन शोचिषा तपुरग्राभिॠष्टिभिः ॥
viṣeṇa bhaṅgurāvataḥ prati ṣma rakṣaso daha | agne tigmena śociṣā tapuragrābhir ṛṣṭibhiḥ ||

English translation:

“Consume, Agni, the treacherous rākṣasas with your all-pervading sharp flame, with yourflame-pointed darts.”
