किम॒यं त्वां वृ॒षाक॑पिश्च॒कार॒ हरि॑तो मृ॒गः । यस्मा॑ इर॒स्यसीदु॒ न्व१॒॑र्यो वा॑ पुष्टि॒मद्वसु॒ विश्व॑स्मा॒दिन्द्र॒ उत्त॑रः ॥
किमयं त्वां वृषाकपिश्चकार हरितो मृगः । यस्मा इरस्यसीदु न्वर्यो वा पुष्टिमद्वसु विश्वस्मादिन्द्र उत्तरः ॥
kim ayaṃ tvāṃ vṛṣākapiś cakāra harito mṛgaḥ | yasmā irasyasīd u nv aryo vā puṣṭimad vasu viśvasmād indra uttaraḥ ||

English translation:

“What (favour) has this tawny deer Vṛṣākapi done to you that you should like a liberal (benefactor)bestow upon him wealth and nourish me; Indra is above all (the world).”
