शश्व॑द॒ग्निर्व॑ध्र्य॒श्वस्य॒ शत्रू॒न्नृभि॑र्जिगाय सु॒तसो॑मवद्भिः । सम॑नं चिददहश्चित्रभा॒नोऽव॒ व्राध॑न्तमभिनद्वृ॒धश्चि॑त् ॥
शश्वदग्निर्वध्र्यश्वस्य शत्रून्नृभिर्जिगाय सुतसोमवद्भिः । समनं चिददहश्चित्रभानोऽव व्राधन्तमभिनद्वृधश्चित् ॥
śaśvad agnir vadhryaśvasya śatrūn nṛbhir jigāya sutasomavadbhiḥ | samanaṃ cid adahaś citrabhāno 'va vrādhantam abhinad vṛdhaś cit ||
English translation:
“Agni by means of the priests of Vadhryaśva pouring out libations always conquers his foes; you(Agni) shining with varied splendour, have consumed the battle; (your praiser) self-fostered has destroyed hispowerful (assailant).”
