द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी ज॑नयन्न॒भि व्र॒ताप॒ ओष॑धीर्व॒निना॑नि य॒ज्ञिया॑ । अ॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ स्व१॒॑रा प॑प्रुरू॒तये॒ वशं॑ दे॒वास॑स्त॒न्वी॒३॒॑ नि मा॑मृजुः ॥
द्यावापृथिवी जनयन्नभि व्रताप ओषधीर्वनिनानि यज्ञिया । अन्तरिक्षं स्वरा पप्रुरूतये वशं देवासस्तन्वी नि मामृजुः ॥
dyāvāpṛthivī janayann abhi vratāpa oṣadhīr vanināni yajñiyā | antarikṣaṃ svar ā paprur ūtaye vaśaṃ devāsas tanvī ni māmṛjuḥ ||

English translation:

“The gods engendered the heaven and earth with their respective functions, the waters, the plural nts, thesacred trees; they filled the whole firmament (with lustre) for its protection; they graced the desirable (sacrifice) intheir own person ns.”
