इन्द्र॑प्रसूता॒ वरु॑णप्रशिष्टा॒ ये सूर्य॑स्य॒ ज्योति॑षो भा॒गमा॑न॒शुः । म॒रुद्ग॑णे वृ॒जने॒ मन्म॑ धीमहि॒ माघो॑ने य॒ज्ञं ज॑नयन्त सू॒रय॑: ॥
इन्द्रप्रसूता वरुणप्रशिष्टा ये सूर्यस्य ज्योतिषो भागमानशुः । मरुद्गणे वृजने मन्म धीमहि माघोने यज्ञं जनयन्त सूरयः ॥
indraprasūtā varuṇapraśiṣṭā ye sūryasya jyotiṣo bhāgam ānaśuḥ | marudgaṇe vṛjane manma dhīmahi māghone yajñaṃ janayanta sūrayaḥ ||
English translation:
“We offer praise to the company of the Maruts, the attendants upon Maghavan, who, encouraged byIndra, and instrumental ucted by Varuṇa, have acquired a portion of the light of the sun; the wise worshippers beget thesacrifice.”
