भरे॒ष्विन्द्रं॑ सु॒हवं॑ हवामहेंऽहो॒मुचं॑ सु॒कृतं॒ दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् । अ॒ग्निं मि॒त्रं वरु॑णं सा॒तये॒ भगं॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी म॒रुत॑: स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥
भरेष्विन्द्रं सुहवं हवामहेंऽहोमुचं सुकृतं दैव्यं जनम् । अग्निं मित्रं वरुणं सातये भगं द्यावापृथिवी मरुतः स्वस्तये ॥
bhareṣv indraṃ suhavaṃ havāmahe 'ṃhomucaṃ sukṛtaṃ daivyaṃ janam | agnim mitraṃ varuṇaṃ sātaye bhagaṃ dyāvāpṛthivī marutaḥ svastaye ||
English translation:
“We call in battles upon the well-invoked Indra, the liberator from sin, and upon the virtuous folk ofheaven, Agni, Mitra, Varuṇa, Bhaga, Heaven and Earth, the Maruts, for the acquisition (of food), for well-being.”
