त्वष्टा॑ मा॒या वे॑द॒पसा॑म॒पस्त॑मो॒ बिभ्र॒त्पात्रा॑ देव॒पाना॑नि॒ शंत॑मा । शिशी॑ते नू॒नं प॑र॒शुं स्वा॑य॒सं येन॑ वृ॒श्चादेत॑शो॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑: ॥
त्वष्टा माया वेदपसामपस्तमो बिभ्रत्पात्रा देवपानानि शंतमा । शिशीते नूनं परशुं स्वायसं येन वृश्चादेतशो ब्रह्मणस्पतिः ॥
tvaṣṭā māyā ved apasām apastamo bibhrat pātrā devapānāni śaṃtamā | śiśīte nūnam paraśuṃ svāyasaṃ yena vṛścād etaśo brahmaṇas patiḥ ||
English translation:
“Tvaṣṭā knows the arts of fabricating (drinking vessels), the most skilful of artificers bearing thesacred drinking cups out of which the gods drink-- verily he sharpens his axe of good metal, wherewith thewhite- complexioned brahmaṇaspati cuts them.”
