आ वो॑ यक्ष्यमृत॒त्वं सु॒वीरं॒ यथा॑ वो देवा॒ वरि॑व॒: करा॑णि । आ बा॒ह्वोर्वज्र॒मिन्द्र॑स्य धेया॒मथे॒मा विश्वा॒: पृत॑ना जयाति ॥
आ वो यक्ष्यमृतत्वं सुवीरं यथा वो देवा वरिवः कराणि । आ बाह्वोर्वज्रमिन्द्रस्य धेयामथेमा विश्वाः पृतना जयाति ॥
ā vo yakṣy amṛtatvaṃ suvīraṃ yathā vo devā varivaḥ karāṇi | ā bāhvor vajram indrasya dheyām athemā viśvāḥ pṛtanā jayāti ||

English translation:

“Gods, I solicit of you immortality and excellent male offspring, that I may offer you adoration. I causeIndra to take the thunderbolt in his hands, wherewith he may overcome all these hostile hosts.”
