Rig Veda 10.44.6

पृथ॒क्प्राय॑न्प्रथ॒मा दे॒वहू॑त॒योऽकृ॑ण्वत श्रव॒स्या॑नि दु॒ष्टरा॑ । न ये शे॒कुर्य॒ज्ञियां॒ नाव॑मा॒रुह॑मी॒र्मैव ते न्य॑विशन्त॒ केप॑यः ॥
पृथक्प्रायन्प्रथमा देवहूतयोऽकृण्वत श्रवस्यानि दुष्टरा । न ये शेकुर्यज्ञियां नावमारुहमीर्मैव ते न्यविशन्त केपयः ॥
pṛthak prāyan prathamā devahūtayo 'kṛṇvata śravasyāni duṣṭarā | na ye śekur yajñiyāṃ nāvam āruham īrmaiva te ny aviśanta kepayaḥ ||

English translation:

“They go separately (to the worlds of the gods); first those who offer oblations to the gods haveattained reputation difficult to surpass; those who have not been able to ascend the ship of sacrifice, have gonedown (in the world), wretches (plural nged) in debt.”
